Jon Phelps |
PartnerPractice Areas Jon is an Arizona native and was raised in the Phoenix area. He is a magna cum laude graduate of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University. While in law school, Jon was a four time Pedrick Scholar and was a Production Editor for Jurimetrics, The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology. Based upon his academic performance in law school, he became a member of the Order of the Coif, an honor society recognizing law students at select law schools who graduate in the top 10 percent of the class. After graduation from law school, an article he wrote was published in Jurimetrics. An earlier version of the same article was selected as the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law’s first prize winner of the Nathan Burke Memorial Competition sponsored by the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Jon worked in a mid-sized law firm upon graduation from law school for over three years, working primarily on commercial litigation, personal injury, bankruptcy, and medical malpractice cases. Since opening his own practice, Jon has focused his practice on family law, personal injury, bankruptcy, and employment discrimination cases. He is a current member of the State Bar of Arizona in good standing and is admitted to practice in Federal and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Arizona. |

PartnerPractice Areas • Bankruptcy Rob is a graduate of Lafayette College, Easton PA. He received his Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Prior to starting Phelps & Moore, PLC, Rob was a shareholder of Broening, Oberg, Woods & Wilson, P.C. While at Broening, Woods & Wilson he served as the managing partner of the firm’s Mesa office. Rob has over 24 years of experience handling all types of litigation including: catastrophic personal injury arising out of automobile and trucking accidents, product defects, premises liability, dog bites, medical malpractice, elder abuse, insurance coverage, insurance bad faith and general commercial litigation. |
Erica Fedon |

Erica was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and a Certificate of the German Language, Erica moved to Phoenix, Arizona. In Arizona, Erica attended law school at Arizona Summit Law School (fka Phoenix School of Law) and obtained her Juris Doctorate in only 2.5 years. While in law school, Erica successfully completed internships with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the City of Phoenix Prosecutors Office, and the family law division of Community Legal Services. In law school, Erica also became a Marshall-Brennan scholar by teaching constitutional law to high school seniors in a title I school district. Since joining the Firm in 2012, Erica has significant experience at both the trial and appellate level in family law, employment discrimination, employment law, and general civil litigation. Some highlights of Erica’s experience include briefing of a family law case at the appellate level that resulted in a favorable outcome as well as obtaining a significant settlement in an employment discrimination case. Erica is a current member of the State Bar of Arizona in good standing and is admitted to practice in Federal and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Arizona. |
Cy Hainey |
Associate AttorneyPractice Areas Cy was raised in Southwestern Kansas and has lived in the Phoenix area since 2010. He is a graduate of Phoenix School Law, now called Arizona Summit Law School. While in law school, Cy attended the Guanajuato Summer Law Institute at the Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico, taking courses in international trade law and Mexican commercial law. Cy also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana. Since joining the firm in 2013, Cy has worked primarily on bankruptcy, family, personal injury cases. He is a current member of the State Bar of Arizona in good standing and is admitted to practice in Federal and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Arizona. |
