Paralegal

Karen Duckworth-Barnes joined Phelps & Moore, PLC in June, 2013. Karen graduated from Everest College Phoenix’s paralegal program in October 2012, receiving an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences with highest distinction. Karen is a fulltime paralegal assisting Jon L. Phelps, Robert M. Moore, Erica M. Fedon, and Cy T. Hainey with family law, personal injury, civil litigation, and bankruptcy practice areas. A licensed Arizona state Notary since 2013, Karen lives in Paradise Valley with her husband and three young children.

Legal Secretary

Tressa Kelley joined Phelps and Moore PLC in March 2015. Tressa has 10 year of Customer Service experience working in a variety different jobs. Tressa graduated from International Institute of the Americas Legal Assistant program in March of 2006.

Office Manager

Mayme has the unique perspective of once having been a Phelps & Moore, PLC client herself. In 2011, Mayme and her son needed and received help from Phelps & Moore, PLC.

Mayme transitioned from client to employee with Phelps & Moore in, PLC September 2013 where she has been able to understand and empathize with the clients, adapt to four stylistically different attorneys, and maintain an ever-growing always-changing office where client needs come first. Mayme is born and raised in Arizona and has 16+ years of administrative experience with an emphasis in Human Resources and has been a licensed Notary of Arizona since October 2013.

Paralegal

joined the legal team at Phelps and Moore, PLC in April, 2015.  She has a background in financial services, mortgage origination, and marketing and has over 10 years experience in customer service.  She attended the paralegal studies program at Rio Salado College, and she has over five years of legal experience in probate, personal injury, bankruptcy, civil litigation and family law.

Legal Secretary

Jey Jey Burton began working for Phelps and Moore PLC in October of 2012, the day the Firm opened. Jey Jey has 8 years of customer service experience working in a variety of unique and different job types. She
was personally trained by a seasoned Legal Assistant for the position she now holds with the Firm, and she has been a licensed notary since September 2013.
